Harness engineer Raj Baghel asked us to enable the following feature flags: PIPE_ENABLE_STRATEGY_FOR_CHAINED_PIPELINES PIPE_POPULATE_STEP_DETAILS_IN_RUNTIME_ID_FOR_STRATEGY_CHILD_NODES These enable looping strategies for chained pipelines and the corresponding UI visualization. This would help us optimize and simplify our destroy pipeline.

We have a number of different report built using Split Admin APIs. To build these reports we require high level Meta data along with Owner information. It takes a number of APIs and a few thousand API calls to get this information. Below are the current steps: For initial Feature Flag data we call https://api.split.io/internal/api/v2/splits/ws/{workspace-id}/environments/{environment-id-or-name} to get the list of flags. For owner ID to email mapping we make https://app.harness.io/ng/api/user/aggregate/{userId} and persist this in a lookup table to reduce API calls to Harness. We then loop through all flags (3k+) and make https://api.split.io/internal/api/v2/splits/ws/{workspace-id}/{feature-flag-name} for each flag to get the flag owner information and enrich it with the previously fetched owner email from the lookup table. If owner email, or at least owner ID, could be returned in https://api.split.io/internal/api/v2/splits/ws/{workspace-id}/environments/{environment-id-or-name} this would exponentially reduce our API usage and reduce our infrastructure needs as well.

I am able to only restrict enabling/disabling flags with certain tag to a user group. Pl also support this for other actions like editing flag, targeting rules, default serve etc. Filter flags by tag when adding them to a target group from the target group edit page. The modal that allows to select flags does not allow filtering on tags Tags on target groups / segments Deleting or editing tags (useful when tags have spelling mistakes or case inconsistency) Server SDKs - only download flags and target group definitions with specific tags or exclude the ones with specific tags Client SDKs - only evaluate flags with certain tags or exclude them from evaluations.
