The
harness_platform_gitops_agent
resource supports High Availability, but there is no way to create a GitOps agent in Disaster Recovery mode (primary and secondary agents, with the DR identifier linking them) through Terraform or the deploy YAML data source.
Today DR agents can only be set up through the UI.
Please add DR arguments to the agent resource and DR identifier support to
harness_platform_gitops_agent_deploy_yaml
, with a documented example.
Organizations with compliance requirements for HA/DR on all tooling, and a policy against manual changes, need to provision the full GitOps footprint (primary agent, secondary agent, and the second Argo CD instance) as code so DR setups are repeatable and auditable.
