When using the AWS VM build infrastructure to configure a CI pool of EC2 instances for building Windows applications, tags defined in the pool.yml configuration are successfully applied to the provisioned EC2 instances but are not propagated to the attached EBS volumes. Currently, there is no way to automatically apply the same tags to the EBS volumes created with the instances. Requesting an enhancement to support propagating user-defined tags from the VM build infrastructure configuration to associated EBS volumes, enabling consistent resource tagging for better cost tracking, governance, and resource management.
