we are using below documentation to have slack approval process for Harness Prod deployment pipelines. As per below docs we are not able see Ticketing System in new Gen Harness UI.

Could you please let me know the process for Pipeline approval from Slack using new Gen Harness UI ?

I would like to request Harness support for having a comment added to an approved deployment displayed in the Slack notification, see screenshots for reference.

Idea is that there we could add important context like JIRA issue link or other explanation.

Please let me know if any additional context needed.

Approval notifications set to slack should use color coding similar to pipeline even notifications to provide visual queues and better distinction between multiple messages posted to the same slack channel.

The first one is about being able to approve pipelines from Slack and/or Microsoft Teams itself. Having some sort of button that would allow us to approve/decline a pipeline from proceeding within the chat itself.

Adding to that, something we think would be useful is to improve the already existing pipeline notifications (Email, Slack, Teams) whenever a pipeline fails. Right now, our notifications state that the pipeline failed but it doesn't tell us why. Including a snippet of the logs in the notification, specially the step that failed would really help us know what went wrong without the need for devs to open Harness.
