Pipeline failure strategy

There are currently step and stage level failure strategies. I'd like the ability to define a pipeline failure strategy, and execute a rollback for deployment types that support it. This should work for multi-service and multi environment deployments.

Request for Rollback Functionality in Harness CD Service at Org. Level
O

I hope this message finds you well. I am currently working on implementing a new blue-green deployment strategy using Harness, specifically for our service at the organisational level. As part of this process, I've encountered a critical need for a rollback functionality within our deployment pipeline.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could guide how to perform a rollback within any pipeline. Given the importance of ensuring the stability and reliability of our deployments, having a rollback mechanism in place is essential. It would enable us to quickly revert to a stable state in case of any unforeseen issues or errors during the deployment process.
Please let me know if there are any additional details needed from my end.

Support for manual intervention in chained pipeline.
E
Ethical Grasshopper
Hi Team,
We have use case to support manual intervention for chained pipelines - There are two main reasons -
Many of our child pipelines are build pipelines only having just the build stages we will have to add a dummy deploy stage for the same.
Also for the second thing the child pipeline can be very big and we will have to add the manual intervention in many places in child pipeline and across multiple pipelines which is not the desired behaviour for us.
We would want the retry to be present in the parent pipeline itself where whenever each stage fails we can chose to retry or skip based on manual intervention.

Thank you for your request! We are adding this to our long term roadmap for development, and will keep you updated as we pick it up for development.
