We now support storing Rego policies in git repositories as mentioned here: https://ideas.harness.io/feature-request/p/allow-users-to-store-opa-policies-as-code-in-harness-code-repository
This should take care of your use case given harness code repo's UI will provide all the rollback mechanisms and version control. needed here.

Vivacious Leopard: I noticed you put in this feature request as well: https://ideas.harness.io/feature-request/p/allow-users-to-store-opa-policies-as-code-in-harness-code-repository.
I believe once we support that, it will take care of this ask where you can rollback the changes through Harness itself, since the OPA policy will be in your Harness code repo.

Hi Abhijit,
Ask is not just to store the code at Git and check the commit history. But to switch b/w stable versions from UI. Is their any option to replicate this just like how the versioning capability is provided for Harness Templates?

If you use the Git experience for OPA as documented here: https://developer.harness.io/docs/platform/governance/policy-as-code/configure-gitexperience-for-opa/ you'll get this capability out of the box as git will store the previous changes for you.
