Hello,
I would like to be able to include resources dynamically in resource group such as by tag. currently, the resource group only support including resources statically by
- all
- by type
- specified
I have to keep adding new resources using specified.

Hello, currently the GitOps resources in resource group is including all or nothing, they can not be group by specified, thus it is hard to put individual resources such as GitOps cluster by environment for RBAC. A ultimate ideal solution will be able to group them by tag mentioned in https://ideas.harness.io/general-platform-requests/p/enhancement-request-support-including-resources-dynamically-in-resource-group.

Hi Kiki,
Can you elaborate the scenario to add the resources using tag? Which resources are you referring to?
Currently the resources are predefined and can be bucketed based on groups. However, if you are looking to add the user groups to specific resources then it can be done using the specified filed on each resource.

Prateek Mittal: The request is for connectors resources. We created dev, qa, prd resource groups and plan to bind them to different user groups individually. We would like to tag the connector with corresponding environement tag so that whenever an new connector is crated with a tag, it will be automatically included in that resource group.
