Allow users to select and utilize the 'effort' field within Harness, aligning with their existing Azure DevOps (ADO) template configuration, which does not use 'story points'.
Current State:
  • Harness currently may default to or prominently display 'story points' for effort estimation.
  • Teams using ADO templates with the 'effort' field instead of 'story points' cannot currently see or use this field effectively within Harness.
Request:
Visibility of 'Effort' Field: Modify Harness to make the 'effort' field visible and available for selection and use in work items.
Field Mapping: Ensure that the 'effort' field from ADO templates is correctly mapped and displayed in Harness.
Implementing this feature will significantly enhance the usability and flexibility of Harness for teams using the 'effort' field in ADO. It will align Harness with their existing project management practices, improve data consistency, and provide more accurate and meaningful insights.
