Add a Script Step in Build Stages for Custom AWS VM Build Infrastructure

We'd like the ability to run scripts on the target VM after it has been created. Not in conjunction with the user_data that can be configured but as an additional step after the instance has been initialized.

Hey, 
Can you please explain the use case further? Can this be accomplished by running a 'Run' step with the script on the machine as the first step ?
just to confirm, can you specify what infrastructure type are you using in your build  stage?
